Mission

Kisses from Katie is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the life of Katie Manning by providing resources to critically ill children, their families, and the people who are dedicated to caring for them.   

 

 

 

 

Katie’s Legacy

5 months, 4 heart catheterizations, 3 open heart surgeries, 2 loving parents, and 1 incredible legacy.

Katie’s time here was brief but powerful. Hundreds of people that never met Katie were touched by her story. While her medical challenges were remarkable, it was her unflappable demeanor, warm smile, and visible happiness that made her so special. Through all of the trials and tribulations, Katie remained a sweet little Munchkin, quick to smile, excited to babble, and constantly taking in her surroundings. As sad a day as it was, her funeral epitomized the depth of Katie’s life. Hundreds of people filled a church, many of whom we didn’t know personally. Dozens of grief stricken people poured by her casket sobbing at this world's loss. She was taken to her resting place by a police escort fit for a princess…

 

She may be gone in body, but her impact lives on!
