7th Annual Night to Remember
What a night we had on Saturday! Costa Azzurra was filled with almost 120 Kisses from Katie supporters ready for an evening of fun, entertainment, and raising money for a great cause. Here are just some of the highlights from the evening.
-With over 60 auction items, bidding wars ensued.
-Steve Bettencourt and Lou Fiorillo started the musical entertainment for the evening, with a surprise appearance by Nick Bettencourt. Birds Over Arkansas provided the music for the rest of the evening. We can’t even begin to tell you the amount of compliments received about the music for the night.
-Rose and Faye Marzinotto gave a moving talk about their twins born at 26 weeks, updates about how great they’re doing now, and the connections and support that they’ve found through Kisses from Katie.
-The props and selfie area was busy all night (look for your pictures on Facebook), the food was amazing (as usual), and the room was “buzzing” all night long.
-The biggest success? In one short evening, over $17,000was raised to support critically ill kids, their families, and the nurses dedicated to caring for them!
We can’t say much more than WOW! We are humbled by the support shown by friends and family that have helped make Kisses from Katie a success, and from the new attendees that we were able to meet this past weekend. Thank you to everyone! We are already looking forward to another successful night next year. Mark your calendars for November 12, 2016, for another great event!
