8th Annual Night to Remember - November 12, 2016
What a night we had on Saturday! Costa Azzurra was filled with almost over 125 Kisses from Katie supporters ready for an evening of fun, entertainment, and raising money for a great cause. This was our fifth year holding our Night to Remember at Costa Azzurra and Benny and his team were nothing short of excellent yet again. Our donors were amazing and provided us with over 70 auction items. With items ranging from sports tickets, to apparel, to home goods, to services, there was something for everyone to try to win. Our entertainment started with an amazing pianist, continued by enjoying Steve Bettencourt and Lou Fiorillo, and ended with Scott and Laura from Birds Over Arkansas. The entertainment was the perfect accompaniment to the evening. The photo booth was busy all night (pictures are on our page on Facebook). Perhaps the highlight of the evening was seeing Katie's little brother attend the event and provide us with some comedic entertainment. All of this contributed to raising over $18,000 to support critically ill children, their families, and the nurses dedicated to caring for them. What a huge success! We are so appreciative of everyone who helped make the evening such a success. We were able to enjoy an evening with friends and family who have supported Kisses from Katie each year, new friends who know about Kisses from Katie through events in their lives that have connected us, and new friends who are there to support a charity that may not have personally touched their lives, but they feel that what Kisses from Katie is tryting to achieve is important. We couldn't ask for a better mix of people.
